     Gluing rhinestones to a guitar most likely will not affect the tone of an electric. It could have some effect on an acoustic.

     There are other options to the rhinestones. You could simply repaint the body to more of your liking. If the guitar is a Strat clone, there are "skins" available to cover it. Those you can find on eBay.

   Are eBay sales good or bad so far this year?
   How are sales for jewelry sellers? I have some rhinestone jewelry that I inherited from my grandmother and wondered if it would be worthwhile to sell it on eBay, but it looks like the prices on everything are really, really low right now. Would it be better to wait till the economy gets better?

     I would say sales for jewelry is much improved since the economic collapse last year. Lots of people are out of job, staying at home and started selling small items online to have hard cash. More transactions are taking place and I myself have seen about 30% increase in sale.

     But do take note, now is the buyer's market, that is to say we have to sell more items at a lower cost too, when too many newbies get in and undercutting our prices. Because of the high eBay, Paypal and postal fees, they soon find themselves out of eBay just as fast as they got in.

     If it is your family heirloom, might as well leave it as it is. You wont get much anyway. Anyway why restrict yourself to selling your grandmother's jewelry?
     What I would do is plan and bid at the right time to win at a lower price and resell them using certain ethical tactics at a higher price and make a living out of it.
     I have sold 30 different items on eBay including "grandmothers" (other peoples' grandmother) jewelry, made nice profits and gain great feedback. I started off on eBay from these anyway.

      Hobbycraft sell something in a brown container with a nozzle (John Lewis also has it). It's called something like Hi-tack Very Sticky Glue. I use it for attaching stones and sequins to greetings cards.

    Where can I buy “tear drop” Acrylic Rhinestones 13x8mm ?
    Where can I buy about 20-144 “tear drop” or “teardrop” shaped flat backed Acrylic Rhinestones in the size of 13x8 mm, and at least in the colors RED and YELLOW, or a mixed bag containing red and yellow?

    I found every other shape I need except this one Online. I already have 3 but need more. I measured the “tear drop” with a digital caliper and got the measurement of 12.22 - 12.3 mm long and 7.4 - 7.5 wide.
    So I’m not sure of the size that would be listed for these. But I think it will say “13x8mm” although I truly need them to be about 12.22 x 7.4 mm to fit within a specific indented space.

    Ive already been looking online and found these shapes for sale but I don’t think the bag contains yellow.

    Please if helping to answer my question, make sure that what you find meets my specifications. There is also a “pear” shape which I do not want. The “tear drop” shape is like a triangle with half a circle at the bottom.
    The “pear” shape has curved sides instead of the triangle. And I found “tear drop” shapes for finger nails. But some sites don’t list the size, or the size is too small (2mm). I need between 13x8mm and 12x7mm.

    Some additional reminders: These are made of Acrylic and are not “Swarovski” or “Czech” rhinestones.
    The back of them is flat but the front is faceted (like a diamond).

    should i be suspicious over some low prices i found on ebay?

      Depends what sort of sale it is. Is it an auction? In this case the seller simply assumes that the price will go up and it usually does. If it is a 'buy now' sale, then be careful with underpriced items. Run a price compare e.g. on froogle for regular prices and if something is still more than 15-30% cheaper, I'd be really really careful.

    They are used for decorating jeans and denim jackets. They have silver rim studs on their backs, so all I have to do is put them on the fabric and just push studs in, so they will stay.

    Where can I find rhinestone glasses like Suzy Preston's from the Biggest Loser?
    I've been searching for a pair of rhinestone / crystal encrusted eye glasses similar to Suzy Preston Hoover's from season 2 of the Biggest Loser. (She stopped wearing them after the show though.) I've done some Googling and done some eBay searches and so far haven't found anything very similar to Suzy's. I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction.

    Where can I get a simple, innexpensive shrug????
    ALLLLL I want is a BASIC shrug, totally plain without any rhinestones or sequins or rutching or aplique. I want the kind that ties in a twist right below your boobs. I'd be thrilled to find either cap-sleeve or long sleeve. I want it in T-shirt material or some other simple stetch cotton fabric. And I want it to cost less then 23 bucks!!!       They usually do. Try the crafts dept. where they sell jewelry making things. They usually have small bags of rhinestones. Another place in the store is the cosmetic dept. Look where they have nail polish and they usually have a display of stickers and rhinestones to put on nails. Hope this helps.

    Can anyone help me find a crystal heart necklace?
    The necklace was apparantly in the Harrods Christmas Catalogue either 2004 or 2005 and is a choker style, it is quite a large heart, encrusted with a choice of either red or blue rhinestones and it retailed for about £40
    I tried contacting Harrods but they never got back..tried ebay without success...relying on you guys!!

    Bought a Medium instead of a Large shirt?
    Well I bought an Ed Hardy shirt on Ebay a real one of course for an amazing price it said Large and as I read on he wrote Medium! We won it and its really really nice rhinestones and all but im not exactly fat I am working out and can fit into Under armor but is there a way to get it bigger can a dry cleaner extend it or something?

    why didn't my stuff sell on ebay?
    Ok i bought 9 ed hardy genuine rhinestone tee shirts from the states and got a good price on them, and they are 100% authentic

    i posted pictures of the tags and close ups of the tee's, these shirts sell in the uk for 145 pounds+ even one of the tees that is rare i gave a web address on my description to compare the price and Quality

    all my tee's were at a starting price of around 65 with no reserve i had watchers on them all and didn't get one bid? they are at a saving of around 50 to 60 pounds, the reason why i did this is because i bought just one ed hardy tee shirt a few weeks ago from the same place and sold it on ebay with a 50 pound profit yet this time i didn't sell any?

    i did give it quite a hard sell on the description and got rid of the reserve price with 2 days to go because of no bids even though i had watchers and just put the starting prices up to 65 pounds

    any idea why i didn't sell anything i am new to ebay,should i have just left the reserve alone?? and the tee's are great by the way not ugly ones they are very subtle and great designs

    is genuine ed hardy to exspensive to sell on ebay even at a heavy discount?? thanks
