      make sure you have checked the correct paper style on your print menu options as well as the ink...Depending upon the paper used check to see what the recommendations are for the way the ink is applied...fast ...fast normal....dpi...etc etc...and that you checked transfer paper in the options as well... cold water wash with a mild detergent and no dryer or fabric softener help prolong the shirt and also launder it inside out.....if you have a lingerie bag us it too....hope this helps...and good luck...

The book has ways to change a boxy tee into a halter, a tank top, a skirt, headband, blanket, purse, pillow, even a wedding dress. The ideas in the book are awesome. There are many no-sew activities and activities that require minimal sewing skills. There is also a web-site but, it hasn't been updated in a while. The last time I checked the 'activity of the month' was still from February. I would highly suggest paying the for the book. I found mine at Barnes and Noble in the craft section.

      If you want something to be silk screened, you need a fairly large run to keep the costs per item down. You would also pay for the artwork set up. Your best bet, especially if this is a small run, is to find someone with a DTG (direct to garment) printer. It will print your design directly onto the item, such as a shirt. The quality is very good and the price is reasonable. Contact silk screeners or embroiderers to find out who has one of these.

      just buy any regular plain t shirts anywhere

      if you have photoshop (any) or illustrator you can draw/make your designs there. reverse the image before you print it out and make sure you print it onto iron-on transfer paper. its special paper made for these types of projects you can get in any craft store or store.

      print out the image then basically iron the image onto the shirt

      if you pin the shirt to the wall, you can take squeeze bottles of paint and loosely make splatter-like designs. You could also go over the shirt with a light mist of spray paint first. this way, the shirt will have a tint to it and a nice base color.

      Sure have. I think every mother(with a boy or girl) has been peed on. Kind of comes with the territory.

      I just wiped my hand off with a wipe at the moment and then washed my hands after. I never really did anything to prevent it. If it happened, it happend. My husband, however, would put a wipe over our son's penis while changing his diaper.

      Buy iron-on transfers from an office store. Just use a regular printer and graphics software like photoshop, gimp, or MS paint. Print on the iron-on paper then iron it on the t-shirt. The paper should have instructions. It's pretty easy. All you really need is the iron-on paper, a printer, a shirt, and an iron. Or you can just draw on it with a permanent marker. :)

      If you mean the manufacturer of the t-shirt, then yes. But if you're asking whether you can make t-shirts with copyrighted or trademarked content on the t-shirt, then no unless you have licensed the artwork.

    I could smell my breakfast. The scent had been wafting from the kitchen, up the stairs, and into my bedroom ever since my Mom started cracking eggs onto the frying pan.
    As I laid in my bed, I could almost count to the very precise moment my Mother would call me down. I would’ve saved her the trouble most days, but today I was content to stare dejectedly at my ceiling. My new alarm clock shone the time onto the ceiling beside my fan, and the bright red numbers read 10:31 am.
    I sighed and began counting, “Three…Two…One…” And right on schedule, Mom called me downstairs.
    “Alice!” She chimed, ”Your eggs and toast are ready!”
    Even now Mom was trying so hard to make things better, or to say the least, easier.
    Summer break had just begun two weeks before, and my life had already changed in two ways.
    One, Mom and I moved back to our old home in Ontario which I was not a fan of, for a very long and detailed list of reasons, but it mostly added up to leaving behind my happy high school life that I had worked so hard to get.
    Two, I had turned seventeen, and without so much as blowing a candle. My Mom tried her best to give me a party, but when you have met absolutely no one things aren’t easy. For my birthday we stayed in, ordered Chinese food, and spent most of our night watching romantic comedies on our comfy new couch.
    By the time I was downstairs I was already dressed in a pair of skinny jeans that were a size too small, and a giant t-shirt that doubled for a tunic, two sizes too big. I had been sporting this style by my own personal choice, and needless to say, Mom was not a fan.
    She liked my not so old style, which I had dropped only weeks before. Bye-bye skirts, shorts, pretty tops, leggings, and dresses.
    “Alice, you know I don’t like it when you hide yourself under those shirts. You’re so pretty, and it’s way too hot for jeans.” Mom lectured, she did that a lot.
    She had gotten one thing right, my new style was not co-operating with the very warm summer weather. I wolfed the scrambled eggs and toast down in barely a minute. Before I had my sudden style change I had tried the ‘starve yourself to death’ diet plan, which my stomach had a quick aversion to.
    I decided I would rather live curvy, than die skeletal.
    Mom smiled, she had been one of the voices of reason when it came to my attempted dieting, “Are you still hungry?” She asked.
    “No, I’m fine thanks.” I lied. Mom smiled slyly before adding an extra helping of eggs to her plate.
    She walked and sat down at the table, made to seat six comfortably. But there had always been only three chairs.
    I stared at the third seat, longing for lost memories to come to life again, “Daddy…” I sighed. His seat was going to be empty indefinitely. My Daddy was gone.
    Tears began to overflow, and I turned away from the table cursing. Mom didn’t need to see this, she’d had enough problems already. “I need to go clean up.” I choked, and before Mom could say anything I had sped away.
    In a blurred net of tears I somehow managed to find my way to the bathroom. Slamming the door shut behind me I raced to see how obvious my being upset was. The last thing I wanted was for Mom to worry about me when she shouldn’t, right now she needed to worry about herself.
    The mirror’s reflection wasn’t encouraging. My blue eyes were bright and red rimmed, my thin lips a pinker shade than usual, and my pale face blotched with red spots. This upsetting routine was becoming too regular for my liking, I already had steps to making myself look better.
    First I brushed through my tangled mess of hair, and when that didn’t work I hopped into the shower with a sigh. The warm water helped my tense muscles relax, but nothing could put my rushing mind at ease. When the water had done its job I reluctantly stepped out and wrapped myself in a blue towel.
    My long brown hair fell into slight curls, but by the time it was towel dried the pretty curls would be frizz, soon to be torn away by the anger of a ripping brush. For two years I had been dyeing my hair a dark brown in an effort to rid myself of the jokes that accompanied my natural honey blonde colour.
    The next step was brushing my teeth. All my life brushing my teeth had been my biggest stress reliever, though I hadn’t figured out why yet. Mom had always said it was because it gave me a sense of structure, something I rarely had.
    There was a knock at the bathroom door, “Alice!” Mom called, “We’re going shopping when you’re done in there, so don’t take too long.”
    I finally felt better, “ I’ll be out in a minute.” I replied.
    When I was dressed and ready to go I grabbed my wallet and slipped on a pair of black sneakers, casually ignoring Mom as she dangled a pair of my gladiator sandals in her hands.
    “Where are we going?” I asked, lacing up my shoes as quickly as I could, while Mom stood impatiently by the door.
    She smiled, “To the book store, I wanted to take a look at a couple of memoirs that have been flying off the shelves.” She was a reader and a writer by nature, although she would always deny that she had any talent. Of course, I knew the difference. As a child Mom occasionally read me stories she had written herself, and they were the “Again, please Mummy, again-again!” bedtime stories.
    In this small town, the bookstore also doubled for the local toy store, gift shop, and art and craft supplier. And because this store was the only one of its kind for miles around, you accepted the prices, or walked home empty-handed. It was the dollar store on steroids.

      This is not too bad at all although you do go on at length about her ablutions and the term "The next step was brushing my teeth etc" sounds like a diary entry. If you want to comment on that delete the words "The next step." Description is fine but try not to dwell on mundane issues. The only thing I would change is right at the beginning when you write; "The scent had been wafting from the kitchen" because scent is not the right word to use in this context so try 'aroma' or even 'the smell of frying eggs etc.' Also never use a comma before or after the word 'and' because it is a conjunction and not grammatically correct.
      It flows well the dialogue is fine and you have a readable style so keep at it. Good luck with your story.

    Okay. I am a big lady. A very decent sized lady. And I just want to know HOW it is that some women find it necessary to wear clothes that are FAR too tight? Please don't get me wrong, I have nothing against bigger women. As I said I am one myself but the thing I don't get is why would you attract more attention to yourself by wearing shirts that don't cover your belly/rolls. I feel embarrassed when my arms are exposed...I don't for the life of me understand the logic behind letting everyone see your fat rolls. There is this chick in my college class who's a BIG girl....at LEAST 350...and she wears tiny shirts that don't cover her belly button and tiny short shorts that dissapear when she sits down because they are sucked into the fat.
    Does anyone know the logic behind this?
    Once again, I am a big woman myself, so I have NOTHING against big girls. I just don't understand why they can't buy clothes that are in their size. They have cute fashions for big ladies. I'm very fashionable..but I shop a plus sized stores. Because that's what fits me. And I accept that.

    How do you deal with being different?
    Here's a hypothetical situation:

    Imagine you live in a world in which everyone has blue-green color blindness. But by some bizarre mutation, you happen to be the only one that can distinguish the two colors. So, they tell you that the grass is blue and the sky is blue, etc and they can't tell the difference.

    But you can see that the grass and sky are different colors. And you try to talk about it with them but they think you are crazy. Now, lets say that green is your favorite color and you dress yourself in green shirt.

    Would you believe them if everyone told you that your favorite color is blue and you are clearly dressed in a blue shirt? Who is correct?

    I mean how do you relate to people? How do you communicate with them? You can't even tell someone that you want a green shirt, cause they have no idea what you are talking about.

    Its like you are living on different worlds. And the most difficult part is that you are alone and you are different and you see things differently.

    Even if you could use a spectrometer to show them that you really can distinguish between blue and green, what difference would it make? You are still different. You'll still see different grass and different sky and different things from everyone else. And they will be right and you will just be crazy.

    I guess what I'm trying to ask in this really overcomplicated way is: how do you deal with being different?

I told her I didn't give her that money to spend on herself, so she shouldn't have spent it. She responded by calling me a b*tch and said "I do you so many favours and the one time I can't repay you immediately you're a b*tch! F*ck you!" I told her I didn't LOAN HER the money, she had no right to spend it! I said "call me a b*tch but you're the one who an irresponsible moron". Besides, it's not like she can't pay me back immediately, she can't pay me back a month later!
    Then she didn't respond and didn't show up to our midterm. Proves my "irresponsible" statement to be true.     Currently I run for 20 mins twice a day. I do intervals I go 4mph for 2 mins then 8 for 2 mins 4 for 2 mins, 9 for 2 mins 4, then 10 for to mins, then back down

    We have been together 3yrs. I have 2 children only one lives at home. My boyfriend moved in my home which I purchased prior to our meeting. He has 2 children who have always lived out of state, each from different mothers.We discussed before moving in together that I had no intention of raising anymore children and he agreed. I have had step children in the past and also helped raise 3 other troubled teens. I never met a child I didn't like until now..My bf has never been more than a summer or holiday father, His children have never lived with him. His son now 15 came to live with us about 3 months ago. His son calls one night saying kids are making fun of him at school and wants to move here. I was having some unrelated family issues. I was not home or made aware of this. To my surprise my bf shows up son in tow. He gives him my oldest sons room that I had turned into a room for my son and granddaughter to use. They use it at least monthly. I asked him again to build a room on. He says he doesn't feel as though he should add a room to a home that isn't his. I understand his point but I feel as if I have been disrespected and taken advantage of. I have never really like his son but was willing to put up with him for 3 to 5 yrs until he moved out, went to college etc. It was worth it to have this wonderful man in my life. Now my son no longer has a place to sleep when he is here. He granddaughters have to share the couch which infuriates me even more. I have become withdrawn, mean and hateful. This is not normal for me. His son has also never been taught any manners or responsibility such as cleaning up after yourself, wear a shirt at the table, limit shower time to ensure there is enough hot water for everyone and other normal household rules others in my home abide by. He is disrespectful and will go into anyone's room lay on their beds even after he has gotten hot and sweaty. I have asked my bf to move out telling him I didn't feel same anymore. I don't have the heart to tell him I don't like his son. Even the teachers at his school have made negative remarks about him .I would never ask him to choose. I believe his son should come first and he definitely needs his father's attention. My problem is my bf won't move out. He says he can tell I still love him and he knows we are meant to be together.     Ok so I've been smoking weed for about six months now. It was easy to just blaze up whenever and go face my parents before I got caught when my mom smelled it in my room. However, because the aforementioned event, I get really paranoid whenever I do decide to risk being around them and I feel like I'm just not acting right and I believe it's solely due to my paranoia.       most celebrities will trademark their likeness which would make it illegal for you to produce shirts without their permission ($$$$). That being said you'll also need a business license from your county and most likely a sales tax certificate from your local taxing authority as well.

    Who else thought the Twilight reviews did justice?
    I was going in with low expectations, and well.
    Alot of the expectations where dead-on, but I was slightly impressed by some of it.
    As far as cinema goes, it's not a movie to be taken for a potentially winning an Oscar in anything, but it's light-hearted and a decent attempt. I read the book when I was 10, yes I had that emotional disorder for it, probably worst than most people. The other books made me quickly realize it wasn't as great as hormonally stressed teens think it is.

    It was low-budget, poorly casted, and horribly executed at some points.
    It was funny, and that's the thing. It was more a comedy than a romance. The actors may be great people in real life but seriously.
    Those who are spiteful at this moment.
    Alot of you read the books in the past year or so, you're not quite evolved to accepting the idea this book isn't as emotionally wrenching as isn't anymore for me.
    Give yourself a few years.

      I've got to agree with you. I thought the movie was a joke. I went with my friends, but I seem to be the only one that disliked it. I can tell my best friend is trying to MAKE herself like it, though I don't know why. I guess she just didn't want to be disappointed.

      It seemed very poorly done. The script was laughable. And you're right. It was a comedy, even though the book wasn't supposed to be. It was rushed, and there were too many important things that were changed. And the meadow scene absolutely sucked. The entire series revolves around that one scene in the meadow, and it was just kind of thrown in at the last minute.

      The casting was questionable at best. I liked Edward (though he lacked confidence), James, Rosalie, Alice (which I actually am basing entirely off appearance), and Emmet, but that was about it. Oh, and Charlie. The rest were... ugh. They were terrible.

      The lines were beyond corny, and the special effects...haha! They were terrible! I dreaded the parts where the vampires would run and jump because I knew it would be awful. But I thought they did a good job with the sparkles. I expected the sparkles to be worse than they were, so I guess I was just relieved.

      I didn't like the music. Well, I mean, the music itself wasn't bad, but I didn't like the way that it was incorporated into the movie. Anytime music like that (meaning music with words) is put in a movie, I think it's ameteurish. It's okay at the very beginning or end, but when you scatter it throughout.... ick. It seems like a made-for-TV movie at that point. I prefer orchestra music during the movie and music with words (like the rock music in Twilight) to be saved for the titles and the end credits. It seems more professional that way.

      It also kind of bothered me that the girl playing Alice was prettier than the girl playing Rosalie, but I must admit that the girl playing Rosalie carried out her part very well. Her rage was believable.

      Sorry that I rambled, but I was just beyond disappointed with the movie. I went in with low expectations, but what I got was even WORSE than what I had anticipated.

    I have a few simple designs. And I'd like them to be on different materials other than the 'Make your own t-shirt' Websites. Is there a way I can buy multiple t-shirts from somewhere, and get them printed? Rather than these 'do it yourself' websites?

    Can you make stuff like shirts with a Charity's name on it and donate it to them to sell or auction for funds?
    for their charity,or make shirts with their logo on it and sell them yourself and then donate portion of profits to the charity?would you have to ask for permission first?I am very creative i am just thinking of ways i can use that to help some Charity's/disaster relief,maybe make blankets as well and donate it to them to give to children?can i do that any advice/thoughts appreciated thank you

    • ANSWER:
      Using a charities logo on your items suggests that you have a sponsorship agreement with them (eg Unicef and Barcelona FC, or in the UK the old arrangement between Acorns and Aston Villa), and that they therefore are in direct agreement with your outlook or philosophy. In order to do this you should therefore get their agreement, and give them a chance to check that your idea does not conflict with any of their other marketing efforts or strategies.

      With regard to funds, you would donate all profits as this is calculated after legitimate expenses, which is similar to what the trading arm of the charity will do. Anything else would be to make a profit off the charities identity, outside of the conditions of a sponsorship deal. Using their brand in this way without permission would be unethical at least, and possibly even illegal depending upon copyrights etc. If you wanted to show that your business supported the charity then your could show that on your literature, website and even uniforms, but to put it on the retail product really does need a higher standard of agreement.

      As for donating goods, I am sure that they would be prepared to accept anything you could give them within reason, although of course you cannot guarantee what they would do with them without talking to one of the staff. Overall then the key here seems to be clear communication, which is quite sensible if you want to be working with them on the same cause.

    Is this sexting/illegal?
    If you're under 18 and you want a dress for a school dance that's low cut, but which won't show you're bra, so you take a picture of yourself with your shirt off (but with your bra on), and then send it to a couple of female friends who are also under 18 so that they can help you to look for a dress, does this count as sexting, and is it illegal in San Fransisco?
    1) First pushup bra, so friends don't know how high/low it goes.

    2) Not a prude, who cares who sees it? An underwired pushup bra is less reveling than a bikini. You see worse on MTV.

      It MAY be. One of the problems is that definitions of "pornography" are extraordinarily squishy... "I know it when I see it" stuff...

      It could be argued that a teen girl in a bra is a "sexualized" picture - which can be considered porn. It could therefore be argued that a recipient with the pic is in possession of kiddie porn... and YOU took a picture of an underaged girl, so you are distributing kiddie porn.

      One question I would ask - What happens when these friends share the pics with others? Are you prepared for that picture to be distributed worldwide? If not, treat it like a secret - and a secret only remains a secret until the first person is told... don't take the pic.

      You don't need to see a girl in a bra to buy a dress. If they are friends, they know your hair and eye color - and they know what kind of build you have.

    Why are communities only banning sagging pants and not men from wearing tight shirts or women wearing minis?
    Communities are banning sagging pants. A person can get fined and community service for breaking this rule. What happened to being yourself? Why just baggy pants? Why not speedos on the beach or tight shirts that show men nipples? Why not those awful skinny jeans that I see so many men wearing (with too much exposure)? Why not short skirts or short shorts? Why not flip flops with socks? There are so many styles of dressing that I personally do not like so why can't we ban those. Honestly I don't care if people dress that way, you have a right to do what you want as long as it does not hurt others. My question is why one and not the other?

    I have a very strict policy on who I will socialize with.

    I will not talk to people who are preppy, emo, goth, punk, or skaters. I will not talk to you if you are have green eyes, or black hair, or wear stripes more than once a week.

    If you decide to wear white socks, lime green, or orange, conversation is out of the question. Make sure you do not have buckteeth, wear glasses, or put a bow in your hair, or we will not be talking. Also, I do not talk to people who wear nike, adidas, k-swiss, or rebook shoes.

    I do not talk to people who are less than 110 pounds or over 178 pounds, make sure you stay within the boundaries. I also will not speak with people under 5'1 or over 6'1. If you wear braces that are any color other than black or pink, we must not talk.

    Also, If you favorite number is lower than 10 or higher than 100 we can't talk. You must never wear polo shirts, and only limit yourself to a black top once per week. Flats are only for Wednesday’s and ponytails are reserved for Fridays

    You must bring your lunch in a paper bag; I will absolutely not talk to people who bring it in lunchboxes or plastic bags.

    Lastly, you must not be shy, outgoing, enthusiastic, boring, smelly, ugly, pretty, smart, unintelligent, and black, white, over 40, under 10, and you must make sure your finger nails are clipped clean.

    How do you make yourself look older?
    I am twenty and everyone always guesses I am in the age range of 16-18 I am sick of it. What make-up and clothing should I wear to look my age. I usually just put eye liner, mascara, and cover-up on, and wear jeans and somewhat fancy shirts usually but also t-shirts, also my hair is styled in side bangs and is about 3 inches longer than shoulder length. Anyways what colors and styles should I avoid and what would make me look older in any or all of the categories (clothing, jewlery, make-up, and hair) Thank You so much for any advise!

      You're annoyed by that? I consider that a wish come true. I mean picture it.. when you're 40 you'll look 30.
      For makeup:
      Wear make-up that looks natural. Stick to neutral colors that highlight your natural beauty. A simple brown or black eyeliner, bronze blush, brown or black mascara, and subtle lipstick do the trick. Stay away from make-up that kids wear. Refrain from wearing glittery eye shadows and lipsticks, wild mascara colors or unnatural eye shadow colors. These make you look younger.

      For clothes:
      Look older by wearing solid, dark colors and simple patterns. Stay away from wild prints and outrageously bright colors. Stick to classically cut clothing and avoid the latest trends. Trendy clothes immediately make your youth identifiable

      For accessories:
      Choose simple jewelry that compliments your outfit but is not distracting. Select pieces that are small and subtle as opposed to overly large and sparkly.

    Why do women show their boobs for dumb things but refuse to for money?
    This question pertains to outside of the strip club and the porn industry. This is just me walking around town doing my thing.

    So I observed this crazy phenomenon first hand while in college.

    It didn't even have to be Mardi Gras or anything, but I can walk around the beach with Mardi Gras Beads all around my neck and sometimes a group of girls would show me their breast for some beads. But if I walked around the same beach and forgot my Mardi Gras beads at home and offered or to see some boobies. I got shot down faster than Joaquin Phoenix's rap career.

    Or I could be at a club and have a box full of Girls Gone Wild t-shirts or with Playboy logos and girls would show some boob for a free shirt.

    Try it yourself it is crazy. I have had girls show me their breast for slutty T-Shirts and cheap beads but women refuse to do it for cash money. What is up with that?

      When they decide to do it for beads, they are not being solicited to do it. They do it for the fun and spontaneity of it. When you offer them money to do it, so you can be sexually gratified, you are essentially treating them like prostitutes. This makes them feel disrespected.

    You know when there is like a logo on a shirt kind of like paint or a logo on a boxing glove or something? what is that called? screen printing or are there different types if so what are they called which is best and cheapest?

    How much does it cost to get this done?

    Can you do it yourself? How much are the tools? I think I have seen some iron on stuff?

    Is there a good place to get this done in bulk for wholesale?

      Locate a local printing press. You have to have one...ask a coach at your school who they use to have your school stuff printed.
